MyDubaiWay publishes information on tax residency, companies, visas and life in Dubai. These are decisions that affect your wealth, so here we explain how we research, review and correct every piece of content.
Who is behind the content
The editorial line is led by Albert Montasell, registered economist no. 216 with the Col·legi d’Economistes d’Andorra, law graduate and Head of Finance at a scale-up. He personally reviews the main guides on the site.
How we choose topics
- We prioritise regulatory, tax, banking and immigration changes that affect people moving their residency or company to the UAE.
- We discard news with no practical impact for our readers.
- Each article answers a specific question and links to the relevant reference guide.
Sources we use
We always start from primary sources: the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), the UAE Government portal (u.ae), ICP, RTA, KHDA, DLD, tax authorities in readers’ home countries and published legislation. Business press is only used as a starting point to spot changes. Every article lists the sources it cites.
Use of artificial intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools to help us research, translate and draft. AI is not a source: facts are checked against official sources, and examples in articles are illustrative unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Updates and dates
Every article shows its publication date and, when reviewed, its update date. Main guides are reviewed whenever the rules they cover change.
Independence and partners
To carry out procedures we work with local law firms and specialists we have selected. That relationship does not shape our informational content: we do not publish sponsored content or paid rankings.
Corrections
If you spot an error or outdated information, write to us. We will review it and, where appropriate, correct the article and update its date.
